“I found my dad’s quartz Seiko from the 70’s last year and wondered if I could have it serviced. I went over to Wild Sultan Club Watches and had a little chat with the owner, Gerrit.
He mentioned that the battery acid had corroded parts of the watch. He said it was still salvageable but gave me an option to convert the watch into an automatic. I was a bit iffy at first but Gerrit talked me into it.
